For me, that moment came with a simple question: Why do hoodies always hide the best part?
I've spent most of my life in hoodies. They're the first thing I reach for when I want to feel like myself comfortable, grounded, real. But there was always something missing. Every hoodie I owned forced me into the same compromise: comfort OR beauty. Warmth OR style. Never both. And I couldn't accept that trade.
The back of a woman is powerful. It carries everything literally and metaphorically. Your spine holds you upright. Your shoulders carry the weight you refuse to put down. The valley of your back is one of the most beautiful curves on a human body. And yet, we hide it. We cover it.

I wasn't okay with that.
So I started sketching. What if the hoodie stayed? What if we kept the comfort, the coziness, the feeling of being wrapped in something that understands you but revealed the back instead? What if we designed a hoodie that didn't ask you to choose?
It took a year. Countless samples, fabric tests, conversations with manufacturers who said it couldn't work. But every time someone put on our open-back hoodie, they got it immediately. They'd look in the mirror and something shifted. Not because of exposure but because of permission. Permission to let people see your strength. Permission to take up space. Permission to be fully, unapologetically yourself.
